I'm not a lifestyles writer because my own life is interesting, why do we have to write in these things? So apparently someone is thinking about starting up a softball team? I wouldn't say I'm the most athletic of the bunch, but it should be fun. I haven't played in eons, but maybe I still have a good arm in me. Who else is thinking about signing up? It should be good times all around especially when someone gets hit in the head with the ball. |

For the past twenty-eight years of my life, I've never successfully kept a new year's resolution. The fourteenth year marked my surrender to the concept itself when I broke the no-chocolate resolution before the middle of January has even arrived. The whole idea is just completely lost on me.
This year, though, I decided to give this another shot. My new year's resolution: get a job I like and stay there. No more moving around. No more settling in only to clean up my desk within a year. It would help, too, to meet new people and actually manage to maintain a social life while working hours and hours and hours. God knows my social life has been at a complete standstill for the past ten years. What better way to start building it back up than to live in this glitzy city, working for a bestselling magazine?
How's everyone doing today? I'm Audrey, and hopefully I can bring some west-coast charm into the offices. I'm the new lifestyle writer, so if anyone has any suggestions for article ideas, I'd love to talk to you. Even if you don't, I'd still want to meet everyone. Please stop by to say hi! |
